Counseling Offices
888-1402

Location: Just inside the main entrance to the Commons area and next to the main administrative offices.

Attendance Personnel: Jeaneatte Webb and Kathy Prazer

Psychologist: Matt Davis

Counselor: Noemi Martinez

Counselors are available throughout the school year. Students needing to meet with a counselor during the school day may go to the office at any time but should make arrangements with their teachers before missing classes. Parents may call at any time to make an appointment to discuss any concerns about their child.

Attendance: If your student is ill, please call the attendance office (888-1402) that morning. If you cannot call, a note excusing the student for the absence must accompany the student when she/he returns.

Extended Absences: If your child is going to be gone on an extended leave or pre-arranged absence, please send a note to school two to three days in advance. This will allow the teachers enough time to prepare assignments for the students.

Homework Requests: Please call the attendance office to request homework for your student if he/she has been absent for two or more days. A phone call by 9:00 AM is needed to be able to pick up work for that same day.

Immunizations: The state’s immunization law mandates that all students entering 6th grade on September 1st are required to provide proof that they have received a second dose of measles vaccine and the Hepatitus B series. Those students who have not received these immunizations will NOT be allowed to attend school.

Administration of Medications: Before a student can bring any medication to school or be administered any medication at school, the parent must read the “Administration of Oral Medication at School” policy and fill out the accompanying form at the school. This policy is in adherence to the Nurse Practice Act of Washington State that governs the nurses’ license. If you have any questions please contact the Eastmont Health Services office at 888-1180.
