Kenroy Elementary is one of five elementary schools in the Eastmont School District. Kenroy is located on the corner of Jonathon Avenue and Fifth Street NE in East Wenatchee, Washington. The K-4 school serves a diverse population of approximately 360 students.
Kenroy Mission
The mission of Kenroy Elemetary is to provide a quality education through a safe and caring environment. Students will acquire knowledge and learn the skills and attitudes necessary to become caring, responsible, and contributing citizens.
Kenroy Highlights
- Gates Grant School
- Kenroy received a schoolwide Gates Foundation School Grant during the 2001-2002 school year. This is a three year grant that provided our school with over $180,000. The goal is to increase student academic achievement, which we have accomplished through the use of technology, research based curriculum and staff development.
- Beacons School
- Kenroy is taking part in the Beacon's Grant through OSPI. The purpose of this project is to better meet the educational needs of children with or at risk of developing severe emotional/behavioral disabilities.
