The program is licensed for 30 students. The maximum number of students to staff is 15 to 1.   SNACKS/LUNCHES
Parents are responsible for providing lunches for their children, either pack one from home or purchase one through food services. Kindergarten students will be able to purchase school lunches.
School lunches are not available on half days.  Snacks are provided after school.

PICK-UP/ DROP-OFF
All parents must escort their child into the student care room in the morning and sign them in. Only people authorized on the registration form may pick-up a child unless permission is given in writing. Permission by phone will be authorized on an emergency basis only.  Parents may have access to their own child any time during business hours. We are required by the State of Washington to have anyone who picks up a child sign them out using their full legal name and the time they were picked up. Anyone who does not write down a check out time, will be signed out at 6pm. ILLNESS
If your child becomes ill while in our care, you will be expected to pick them up immediately. A child is considered ill when: they have a temperature of 100.4 or above, have vomited, have an unexplained rash, or have red or mattery eyes.

MEDICATION
If your child needs medication (over the counter or prescription), you need a form signed by both you and your child's physician before it can be administered. Forms are available in the office.

MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

Kenroy Student Care staff is trained in first aid and CPR and will take appropriate steps to care for your child's minor injuries such as minor cuts, scrapes and bruises. Staff will notify parents of the incident and injury. If a life-threatening emergency should occur, staff will provide first aide and CPR as needed, call 911 and contract parents as soon as possible. If parents cannot be reached, the staff will contact the second person on the child's registration list and continue down that list until someone is contacted.
