Accounting

Planning, recording, analyzing, and interpreting financial information is  called accounting. Developing a working knowledge of basic accounting principles and applying them  is the purpose of this class. In the first semester we will cover the entire accounting cycle for a  Proprietorship including using a general journal, ledger, worksheet and financial statements. In the  second semester we will cover the accounting cycle for a merchandising business organized as a  corporation. Critical thinking skills will be required in Accounting. You will need to use all resources  available, problem solve independently, and work towards the solution.
