What is a Strategic Plan?

A strategic plan is a 3-5 year plan that outlines a shared vision for the school district and goals for student achievement. The Strategic Plan document includes Eastmont School District’s goals, the priorities to achieve those goals, and metrics used to measure progress on those goals.

What process did Eastmont follow to create the Strategic Plan?

During the 2023-2024 School Year, a representative group of students, parents, staff, and community members crafted the strategic plan facilitated by leadership from North Central Educational Service District.  The District’s goal was to lead a process that reflects the values of the district: inclusion of community voice, focus on students, transparency, and not being afraid to be vulnerable and honest. We believe this process and plan are a reflection of our commitment that the Eastmont schools belong to the community.  The plan was approved by the Eastmont Board of Directors on May 28th, 2024.
