Floral Design ADV

This class is designed for 11th and 12th grade students with an interest in floral design. Students will design and develop an understanding of and an appreciation for the basic concepts of floral design. Students will study identification,  designing, growing, managing, and the sale of both ornamental and floricultural plants.  We will utilize our classroom, greenhouse, and floral shop to produce quality designs  while learning the principles of floral design. Students will be expected to construct a wide range of floral designs for themselves. This course will satisfy a Career  and Technical Education and/or Fine Arts credit requirement for graduation.
