Manufacturing & Construction (9th)

This class is open to 9th graders that have previously taken Exploring Tech, Woods, or Metals. The course is designed to give students an introduction to the manufacturing and construction industry. It is a project-oriented, hands-on class where students will learn about the different materials and processes used, along with measurement, shop equipment, design, and safety. Students will work on a variety of assignments and projects in the shops, and as a class will build a storage shed.
