Free Summer Meals Information for Summer 2022 meals must be eaten onsite. Children must be present to receive meals.

USDA National Hunger Hotline is a helpful resource for people seeking food assistance. The hotline, operated by Hunger Free America, can be reached Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET.
Families may text "Food" or "Comida" to 304-304 to find free summer meals.

Online applications are no longer accepted for the 21-22 school year. The last day to turn in paper applications is 3pm on 6/9/2022 at the Eastmont Administration Office.
We can not accept applications for the 2022-23 school year until August 2022. Please do not apply for the next school year until that time.

Payments for school meal account balances owed for prior school years can be made via Student Fee/Fine system.
We utilize MySchoolBucks for our online payment system! Please allow 24 hours for payments to be processed.

Eastmont District Staff wanting to put funds on account need to know their staff account number. In MySchoolBucks, add yourself to your account as a student using your account number, you can then add funds. Please contact the Food Service Office at 509-888-4715 or 509-888-4716 for your account number.

To help ensure the health and safety of all of our students and staff, cash and check payments for student meal accounts will only be accepted at the Eastmont Administration Office. You can make payments in person between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm or mail to 800 Eastmont Avenue, East Wenatchee WA 98802. No cash or checks will be accepted at school sites.
Alternatively, parents can make secure payments online via MySchoolBucks. In addition, this application allows parents to view cafeteria purchases, check the balance of their student’s meal account, set up low balance alerts and schedule automatic payments.

Our Food Service Department offers a mobile app, So Happy by Sodexo, to help parents and students see what's on the menu.
It is available as a free download on the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
Parents and students can look up nutritional information and allergen information for products served in the cafeteria. The language setting in the app to view information can be changed to Spanish if needed. The app links to the menu planning program used in all the schools and will sync to show all foods served in the cafeteria during the week.

In order to ensure that Eastmont School District Food Service Department is aware of your child’s particular dietary restrictions, such as food allegories or diabetes, the parent or guardian will need to complete the “Diet Prescription for Meals at School” form. This form is required to be signed by a Physician and must be submitted to the School Nurse.
The Eastmont School District provides milk and water at all meal service times. If your child is lactose intolerant, you must submit a "Diet Prescription for Meals at School" form. Eastmont School District will provide an unflavored soy milk to students who are lactose intolerant and have a completed diet prescription on file. Families also have the choice to send a beverage to school to supplement the school meals. Eastmont School District is not allowed to provide a juice as a substitute beverage when it is not on the menu.

Eastmont School District contracts with Sodexo America, LLC for Food Service Management. We have partnered to provide the following information in order to assist parents that have children with special dietary needs.
If you have a child with special dietary needs, please contact your school nurse. The school nurse will collect the required information on “Diet Prescription for Meals at School” Form. The completed form with be shared with the Director of Food Service, who will work with your child’s school to ensure required meal modifications are accommodated

Pandemic EBT for School Year 2020-21 and Summer 2021
We do not have information or updates about Pandemic EBT for Summer 2022.P-EBT benefit cards are issued by WA State to approved Free or Reduced-price Meal eligible students only. Eastmont does not issue or fund the P-EBT cards.

Effective June 2021, USDA approved Washington state's plans to expand P-EBT benefits to include children under age 6 that qualify for Basic Food Assistance. For more information on each of these benefits and how they will be provided, click here. Benefits were issued in late July 2021.
