Kirsten Larsen, Board Member

Kirsten Larsen moved to Wenatchee in 2000 as a high school freshman, where she met her husband Joe, and graduated from Westside High School in 2003. She earned an Associate's degree from Wenatchee Valley College before going on to receive a Bachelor of Business Administration from CSU Monterey Bay and a Master of Urban and Environmental Planning from Arizona State University. Kirsten and Joe returned to East Wenatchee in 2012 to put down roots in the community they both call home.

Kirsten brings over 14 years of public sector planning experience to the Board, having worked for Chelan County, the Washington State Department of Commerce, and the City of Wenatchee, where she currently serves as Senior Planner and Historic Preservation Officer. She holds the AICP certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners.

Outside of work, Kirsten is an engaged community member, a graduate of the Leadership Institute of NCW, and serves on the East Wenatchee Planning Commission. Kirsten and Joe are the parents of two elementary-age boys who attend Eastmont schools. She is active in their school PTO and enjoys cheering them on at recreational sports activities.
