IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGUARDING FEE COVERAGE
District Waiver:
The District Office offers to pay for ONE (1) test throughout a student's high school career. A student wanting to use the District Waiver must inform the Testing Secretary for tracking purposes.
The District Waiver can be used once for the SAT.

Counts towards scholarships, college entrance, etc. If a student signs-up and decides not to participate after the deadline has passed, the student will be responsible for the restock fee associated with the test.

The District Waiver can only be used toward the SAT; and NOT any other exams offered at Eastmont High School.
Restock Fee:
If a student chooses to not take a test after signing up, they must communicate with the Testing Secretary before the sign-up deadline. Failure to communicate will result in a restock fee.

College Board Fee Waivers For Weekend Testing Only:
College Board offers fee waivers to 11th & 12th Grade students that take the PSAT/NMSQT and/or SAT. To be eligible for the College Board Fee Waivers, please fill out the Eligibility Application & Consent to Share online.

Graduation Pathway Option
All public high school students are required to meet statewide graduation requirements to earn a diploma.
One requirement being the completion of a Graduation Pathway.
If a student was unable to meet one or both of the minimum scores of the Smarter Balanced Assessments (SBA) in ELA (2548) & MATH (2595), the student has the option to take the ASVAB to attempt to acheive the minimum score. A student must acheive the minimum score on the Armed Forces Qualification Test (AFQT) of the ASVAB.
Reaching the minimum AFQT score, satisfies the graduation pathway requirements in both ELA & MATH.

These exams are computer-adaptive tests designed to assist accurate placement into appropriate courses for math. You will receive your test results immediately upon completion of testing. Talk with your teacher about qualifying scores.

Digital SAT -- What to Expect on Test Day

What you need on test day:
- Fully Charged Chromebook (Bluebook App Installed)
- Chromebook Charger
- Student ID Card or Picture ID
- Water Bottle and/or Snack (optional)
- Other electronic devices cannot be used during testing or breaks

This is a timed 2 1/2-hour digital test that will be taken on a student chromebook by accessing the Bluebook App.
It will take about 3-hours to complete...time includes the proctor instruction and breaks.
The test fee can be paid at the Bookkeeping Office.
SAT Test Fee: $ 68.00
Students that choose to use the District Waiver will have the cost of their test fee covered by the District Office.
Students that have already used their District Waiver will have to self-pay.

To be eligible for the College Board Fee Waivers, please fill out the Online Eligibility Application & Consent to Share.
A student must be eligible to receive a school fee waiver for the SAT. and will also need to accept the fee waiver through their College Board account.
Eligibility --
SAT fee waivers are available to low-income 11th- and 12th-grade students in the U.S. or U.S. territories. U.S. citizens living outside the country might also be eligible for fee waivers.
You’re eligible if one or more of these descriptions apply to you:
- You’re enrolled in or eligible to participate in the federal
National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
- Your family's annual income falls within the Income
Eligibility Guidelines set by the United States Department
of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service.
- You're enrolled in a federal, state, or local program that aids students from
low-income families, For example, TRIO programs like Upward Bound.
- Your family receives public assistance.
- You’re homeless or live in federally subsidized public housing or a foster home.
- You’re a ward of the state or an orphan.

If you’ve been marked as eligible or have a fee waiver code, you can accept fee waiver benefits on your My SAT homepage.
Instructions
1. Sign into your College Board account.
If you don’t have an account, you can create one.
2. From your profile, click My SAT.
If you've used your College Board account only for the SAT,
you might go straight to the My SAT page.
3. On the My SAT page, accept your fee waiver.
If you’ve been marked as eligible, review the terms of the eligibility prompt,
then click Continue.
If you have a 12-digit fee waiver code, enter it and then click Submit.

Student that meet or exceed the minimum scores in the Smarter Balanced Assessments (SBA) for ELA & MATH, complete the Graduation Pathway requirement.

If a student is unable to meet one or both of the minimum scores, it is recommended the student reach out to their high school counselor to figure out the next best option to complete the Graduation Pathway requirement.
Listed to the left is the testing schedule for Sophomores.
Students that are not testing on a specific day will be on a late start schedule, unless informed otherwise.
Running Start (RS) Students:
Keep to usual schedule and attend core classes at EHS, if it doesn't conflict with RS schedule.
Junior RS Students -- College level courses excuse you from taking the WCAS test.
Skill Center (SC) Students:
Need to be at EHS for testing. SC Students must attend EHS (core) classes according to the modified schedule.
Morning SC Students -- On April 22 and 24, you will need to be at EHS for testing and must attend periods 4, 5, 6.
Afternoon SC Students -- On April 21, 23 and 28, you will need be at EHS for testing and must attend periods 1, 2, 3.
You will be excused from the Skill Center on the testing days that you attend your EHS classes.
